1. Through lectures, seminars, and/or labs, provide didactic and clinical instruction and assessment of
performance in the Dental Hygiene program.
2. Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings.
3. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current dental hygiene principles, procedures and techniques
and the principles of adult education.
4. Develop and maintain course curriculum.
5. Conduct various aspects of program administration as required.
6. Provide dental hygiene services as required.
7. Provide instructional support to Dental Assisting Program when required.

1. Graduate of a Dental Hygiene Program.
2. Eligible for registration and licensure as a dental hygienist in Saskatchewan.

5. Minimum of two years recent and relevant dental hygiene experience in a dental office utilizing
current dental hygiene principles, procedures and techniques.
