Brief Bio
I work as a Senior CPU Performance Modeling Engineer at Qualcomm Technologies Inc. since 2012.
I finished my PhD at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 2013.
My advisers were Karthik Pattabiraman and Sathish Gopalakrishnan.
I received my M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada in 2007, and my B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University, Palestine, in 2005.
I was awarded NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship in 2009.
I interned with Microsoft Research in Summer, 2011.My resume is available here.
Research Interests
My research interests are in Computer architecture; reliability and performance. Hardware faults avoidance and tolerance. Performance characterizations and optimizations.
