Hi everyone!
My name is Lin Xin, Leong. You may call me Lin Xin, Lin, Chloe, or anything that you are comfortable with.
Some may guess I’m from China, but NO! I’m a Malaysian! A Malaysian Chinese though. Mandarin is my first language, and I speak other languages like Hakka, Cantonese, English, Malay(for sure) and currently I’m adding French into my list! Don’t be surprised of the languages I could speak (I know you don’t), because most of the Malaysians know at least 3 languages and above. BUT, because we know so many languages, we actually came out our own language – ROJAK language (blended language) – that you won’t understand unless you are a Malaysian! *Proud*
I came to Vancouver last September so I’ve been here for only one year. Everything in Vancouver is very exciting to me due to cultural differences, weather and… everything! It is soooooooooooooooooo beautiful here (without raining) that I really wish I could stay longer.
