I’m Francisco. I’m currently a third year student at UBC studying Latin American Studies and Economics. Having grown up in Latin America, I found it’s politics, economics, and culture fascinating so I decided to take on the task of trying to understand why and how everything came to be, where things are, and where things might be going.

I’m taking this course (other that it being a requirement to complete my major) to broaden my understanding of the basic building blocks that make Latin America unique.
