I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia. I am a member of ECEM Lab at BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver, BC. I received my MASc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Aug 2015. The focus of my Master’s thesis was on process control, performance monitoring of stochastic control systems, closed-loop identification, etc.

My current scope of research includes model-invariant safety-preserving control and control of constrained safety-critical systems, and specifically I am focusing on safety aspects of anesthesia closed-loop control.
