On February 24th, the MCU hosted a Microbiology Career Seminar! The seminar interviewed Dr. Edith Blondel-Hill, Roger Wong, and Jerry Ericsson, along with Ashley Stasuk, a recent UBC graduate who specialized in microbiology. Discussed in the seminar was information on future careers surrounding the wine industry, the biotechnical industry in regards to genetic modification, and the medical industry regarding infectious diseases and medical microbiology.
