Variety of Energy storage technologies exists such as Thermal, Mechanical. Chemical, Electrochemical, Electrical and Hybrid systems. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) being type of Electrochemical energy storage technology, play a pivotal role in potentially reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As the significance of BESS increases, project developers face a unique array of challenges and opportunities. This study delves into the fundamental elements of a market entry strategy, technologies deployed and typical costs for Battery Energy Storage Systems, providing insights from the perspective of a project developer.
