Final Inquiry Project

I wanted to get my first version of my inquiry project up, as I’m past the point of impartiality and have no clue if it is thought provoking, or dull.  I’m trying to express some of what we explored in this MindMeister.

As you can see, we gathered rather a lot of information that needed to be pared down. Here’s my attempt in doing so…

Please leave me a comment with some feedback if you can. Thank you.

  1. This is beautiful. It summarizes your learning in a artistic, poetic way. Isn’t it amazing how at the turn of this century we are still trying figure how how to communicate. What’s interesting though is this art, music and poetry are still (in my opinion) the most effective and inspiring way of communicating our humanity. I hope that in the quest for better technology teachers dont forget the value of the content and history of what they are teaching. Process is important but we must know how to be human and strive to keep our humanity in all this stuff!! Thank you for sharing . Janet

  2. I am assuming your final project work was the Haiku Deck with the Mindmeister map thrown in for good measure. I have to say I think you have done a great job bringing the issues and the opportunities together into a concise piece. This could easily be used as a discussion starter with other teachers, or with students. Great work, Brianne!

  3. This is an awesome compilation, between the Mindmeister concept map and the Haiku Deck. These two pieces could form the basis for an entire unit plan on digital citizenship or media studies. You have really captured the breadth and depth of change we are facing. It is no wonder that teachers feel a little squeamish when it comes to digital technology, why they just want a simple app to use in a math lesson. The magnitude of change is awe inspiring, and not a little frightening. Stick together everyone!
