Hello!
I am a B.Sc Student from Dalian, China at UBC Department of Geography, specialized in Geographical Biogeosciences.
Coming from an Engineering family and background, I initially started my studies in Chemical Engineering. However, I was fascinated by Geography when taking GEOB electives in my first year, leading to my current degree. My interests include Urbanism, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design and Geomorphology. I strongly believe that the creation of our built environment, with deliberately designed elements, will be able to promote connection between individuals, improve people’s physical & mental well-being, and create sustainable neighbourhoods.
In the future, I plan to take on my current knowledge in the preparation of a professional Landscape Architecture degree, and ultimately, design spaces that make people happy.
