I am a Ph.D. student at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of British Columbia (UBC) working in the Dependable Systems Lab under the supervision of Prof. Karthik Pattabiraman. In 2019, I received my M.Sc. degree from the American University of Sharjah under the supervision of Prof. Tamer Shanableh and Prof. Assim Sagahyroon. In 2017, I earned my B.Sc. degree from the American University of Sharjah (summa cum laude).
My research interests include robust and resilient machine learning, cybersecurity, and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Currently, we are investigating the possibility of building more risk-aware machine learning models that could withstand adversarial attacks on smart connected systems.
My personal hobbies include football, traveling, and going to the cinema.
