Inquiry

In my inquiry class we looked at bringing space into the classroom. So my group looked at how students could ride the city bus and look at how the city changes based on the resources needed in a particular area. The final product was a project that included the option to make a form for visiting tourists, or a plan for how to survive a zombie apocalypse.

The following is my Inquiry Paper on Rewarding students for good behavior vs. building a strong school community between all members in the school. Through the project I looked at schools that had little cards they handed out for good behavior vs. schools that created and maintained a student lead rules and expectations that was applied for both teachers and principles.

In the future I would like to look at how to improve student reading in regards to media and earn my masters in critical media literacy. I think it is important for all people to understand how the media affects the way we interact with everyone around us, and the objects that “control” our
lives.
