Following my 10 week practicum at Steveston London Secondary School, I had the opportunity to attend an international CFE in Zurich, Switzerland. I spent 3 weeks living at a home stay in Winterthur, teaching in a middle school in Ossingen and attending modules at PH Zurich. The CFE was short but a great balance of work and travel which exposed me to a new culture, school system and way of living. If you’re interested, I have attached documentation in regards to my weekly observations and comparisons between Canada and Switzerland as well as an overall reflection of my time in Switzerland.
This is a picture of my 2 colleagues, Ms. Dhaliwal and Ms. Chin on a weekend trip to Lake Konstanz, Germany. While we had a lot of work to do and teaching involved in Switzerland, we made sure to take the time to enjoy the scenery and cultures.
