Ammunition: Bullets and shells that are shot from a gun

Automatic: A firearm that shoots many bullets quickly when the trigger is pulled

Barrel: Part of the firing action of a gun where the bullets go through after the trigger is pulled

Caliber: The diameter of a bullet and the bore of a gun

Clip: Holds ammunition that is fed into the chamber of a firearm

Cross Hairs: Thin wire that is seen when looking into a scope to aim at a target

Gun-powder:  An explosive mixture of potassium nitrate, charcoal, and sulfur used as propelling charges in ammunition

Muzzle: The opening at the end of the gun where the bullet comes out of

Non-Restricted: Fire arms that are permitted to be used by individuals possessing their PAL; shot gun, rifle

Restricted: A non-permited firearm; hand gun, revolver, automatic firearms

Rifling: Spiral grooves in the surface of the bore of a gun, causing a projectile, when fired, to rotate 

Scope: A type of telescope mounted on to a gun for aiming

Semi-Automatic: A firearms able to fire bullets one after another but not quickly

Target: The thing that you are aiming and shooting at

Tri-Pod: A three legged support stand for a gun. Usually used to help steady the gun when aiming
