About Me

I’m an undergrad student double-majoring in both geography and political science. I aim to focus my work on environmental conservation and restoration, but also enjoy working with social geography. I have recently worked on a number of GIS projects such as: examining the potential bike share locations for the City of Vancouver, assessing the environmental impact of a large-scale proposed ski resort in Squamish, comparing housing affordability between Vancouver and Ottawa, and identifying the areas of the City of Vancouver and important infrastructure and facilities that could be impacted by the effects of a tsunami. As a result of this experience I have become proficient at using GIS software to perform various types of geographical analysis and I am excited to apply these skills in further research and professional opportunities. On this site you will see some of the GIS work that I have completed.
