A trip to Victoria

Last weekend I spent in Victoria with my Boyfriend. I really loved the city.

While planning the trip, I asked others for an opinion about Victoria. Most of them said it is boring and there is not much to see. I must say I can not agree with them. I found this city very beautiful with multiple picturesque views. It was wodnerfull to see the combination of ancient buildings in Romanian and Gothic style and modern architecture.
It reminded me about my previous trips to Boston, Barcelona and Paris.

I was also amazed by the atmoshepere of Vicotria. Sooo cozy and relaxing. I enjoyed every minute spent there.

We visited Royal BC Museum, Parlament Building, IMAX cinema, Craigdarroch Castle.

What I liked the most is just walking along the seafront and watching the sunset from one of the restaurant on the coast of the inner harbour.

On July 1st, there were some concerts, parades in downtown, and fireworks at night. Everybody was celebrating Canada Day, it was lots of fun. I do reccomend you go to vicotira.

About my home city

In this post i would like to tell you a little bit about my home city – Vladivostok.

A naval port city on the Pacific Ocean, Vladivostok has a passing resemblance to a run down San Francisco. Home to the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy, the city has lost a little of its luster as spending on the military has dried up. Like San Francisco, the city is built on the hills surrounding a harbor with the center of the city sporting a nice collection of architecture from the pre-communist era. The city is dotted with parks and scenic points overlooking both the harbor and Sea of Japan. It is a nice place to visit! Welcome!
