We all love to have a laugh and make a joke, but is it still funny if it hurts someone else’s feelings? Sometimes when we post things online we think we are being anonymous which makes us a little more courageous but we can still hurt other people’s feelings.

We make Essential Agreements at the start of our school year that we all create together, and agree upon, with regards to how we will behave together, as a group.
With your group right now, create a list of essential agreements that you can all agree upon on how you will behave online, whether or not you are using an avatar. Write your list with your group names on the class Google Doc for today. Note: remember our guide for writing Essential Agreements. If you have forgotten, go back to our class page and have a look.
Take a look at some of the essential agreements created by the other groups. Are there any of yours you would like to revise or change? Maybe add another one? Once you are happy with your Online Essential Agreements, change the colour of the text to Red.
