Phar 330 is an introductory 2 credit second year required course in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC on genomics and personalized medicine. The primary goal of the course is to introduce pharmacy students to the concept of genomic biomarkers and their application in the personalization of disease diagnosis and therapy.  The second year pharmacy students enrolled in the course have been divided into groups in order to facilitate constructive discussion on the meaning, use and value of personalized medicine in health care and the role that pharmacists should take in developing this new area in disease diagnosis and therapy.
