Summary: My learning object explores the simple pendulum and includes calculations that show how to determine the period and length of a simple pendulum. It also includes questions that explore how to determine the velocity of the pendulum as it passes back through its equilibrium position after being maximally displaced. Finally, it explores how the period of the pendulum changes as the gravitational acceleration changes (i.e, pendulum on the moon).
