I strive to understand the interplay between tectonism, metamorphism and hydrothermal alteration and how it contributes to localize ore deposits. My research strategy is threefold:
1-Establish a strong field control with systematic mapping, sampling and sample description.
2-Track back the relative timing between deformation, metamorphism and alteration with an array of geochronological tools.
3-Characterize the processes through metamorphic and mechanical modelling.
I am supervised by Dr. Kyle Larson (UBC) and Dr. Dawn Kellett (GSC) and my research is funded by the Geological Survey of Canada.
