Brand loyalty to a whole new level

I came across this really funny youtube video comparing the HTC EVO to the IPHONE 4. It shows how Apple has created a trust among its users, and that most of the users immediately become advocates of the product once they’ve used the product.

The IPHONE 4 is in the consumers evoked set, and there is no way any other product (it may even be better) changing that opinion in the customers minds.

Hello world!

I just found this very interesting take on B2B and B2C marketing strategies that are applied on one of the worlds most used websites, “FACEBOOK”.

After, reading this post, I went on to my facebook account to see how many Business pages have I “liked”, and saw how many times I have seen people advertising their used textbooks for sale.

Tamar mentioned in class, that some of her students said that they would market their product on facebook. When someone “likes” your product (maybe its just one person), it comes up on all his/her friends news feed. Marketing is all about putting your product OUT THERE, and in this day and age, facebook is maybe the fastest and cheapest way to do that. 🙂
