Master of Education (MEd) – Education for Sustainability
2020-2022 Cohort
This innovative MEd cohort program explored Education for Sustainability by engaging students in real-world individual and group projects that address sustainability issues in the City of Vancouver.
The pedagogy featured an Adaptive Education model, which promoted experiential and place-based learning, art-based environmental education and active citizenship through tactical urbanism. Through collaborative projects students consulted on, experimented with, and co-created solutions that address problems which come to light in the course of working with the City of Vancouver on sustainability priorities.
