Working the Ruins of Educational Policy:
Post-structuralism for a Complex World

Held on February 6, 2014 at the University of British Columbia

Speakers:
Dr. Wanda Pillow, University of Utah
Dr. Eva Bendix Petersen, University of Newcastle, Australia
Dr. Sam Sellar, University of Queensland, Australia

Referencing the groundbreaking and continually relevant Working the Ruins: Feminist Poststructural Theory and Methods in Education (1999, St. Pierre & Pillow, Eds.), this panel discussion explored the ways in which education policy can be viewed through poststructural policy analysis. Sponsored by the Faculty of Education at UBC through the Research Infrastructure Support Services (RISS) Program and the Dean’s Office, this event provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and network formation between policy scholars and other policy actors outside of the university context.

Sponsored by the UBC Faculty of Education and The Centre for Policy Studies in Higher Education and Training (CHET)
