Okanagan Water & Biodiversity Forum

We invite the submission of session proposals and abstracts for the Okanagan Water & Biodiversity Forum in Kelowna, hosted by The University of British Columbia’s Okanagan Institute for Biodiversity, Resilience, and Ecosystem Services (BRAES) and the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) more information about the event is available at  the  event website at:  http://braes.ok.ubc.ca/forum/

Presentations are encouraged to explore issues related to the ecology, conservation, management or governance of biodiversity and water resources or both. The conferences and presentations will address issues relevant to the Okanagan, either through case studies from the region or through the discussion of research and practical applications that may be transferable. Deadline for submissions is June 30th 2014.

We welcome session proposals from all UBC (Vancouver and Okanagan) Faculty members. For specific details please see call for session proposals attached or click here.

 We welcome abstracts  from all researchers from UBC as well as other Canadian and international institutions, BRAES members and collaborators, independent researchers, local, provincial and federal government representatives. Cross disciplinary (academic/non-academic) collaborations are strongly recommended. For specific details please see call for abstracts attached or click here.
