The Amazon Propel Program is a 12-week software development engineering internships for promising students who are new to the profession. It begins with a 2-week software development crash course and transitions into 10 weeks of work on a software project. Besides a strong academic record, the main criteria are a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, ,common programming languages, and excellent problem solving skills.

One is to a professor of virology at the University of Victoria whom I did research with in bioinformatics. The second is to the laboratory manager at YouCount Inc., where I completed my co-op work term at the end of my biochemistry degree. The last letter is to the general manager of incredible home, a closet shop where I used to work part time.
