My name is Rasheena Sekhon and I am a Teacher Candidate, in the Personalized Learning and Technology cohort at The University of British Columbia. I am a passionate life long learner, whose commitment to fostering an inclusive community of learners is built through hands on learning, reflecting and differentiating for all learners. I am an educator whose focus on personalized learning and technology can facilitate an environment for all students to inquire, learn and grow. My approach to teaching has developed through positive personal relationships that I have built in the past with my teachers and school communities. A productive and inclusive learning community begins with relationships that are built through trust, understanding and collaboration. As I begin my teaching journey, I will keep these core components of relationships at the centre of building my classroom community.
