Podcast Season 2

Welcome to Season 2 of the Reproductive Technologies podcast! The episodes this season have been created by students in HIST460A (Technology & Society: Reproductive Technologies) here at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Each episode was entirely researched, written, recorded, and edited by students. Thanks to all six groups and to all thirty students for creating this digital knowledge! Big thanks also to Stephanie Awotwi-Pratt, Taylor Wilson, and UBCO Studios for providing students with the support to make this podcast possible.

In this season, we take a deep dive into everything from assisted reproductive technologies, like in vitro fertilization (IVF) and frozen embryo transfer (FET), to intrauterine devices and the husband stitch. We engage with forms of medical malpractice and injustice, beginning with the sterilization of indigenous peoples in what we today call Canada. Please join us for an exciting and informative Season 2!
