I think I just found something interesting.

Derek Halpern, the blogger of “Social Triggers”, is aimed to teach businesspeople how to use consumer psychology to trigger people to buy their products, and he opened his own blog to share the secret of his success to his audiences.  “I’m going to die on this treadmill…” was the title of Derek’s latest blog; later he introduced the meaning of such phrase: Successful people share a common characteristic, which is getting what they want or they are going to try dying. In my way of concluding it, the word will probably be “perseverance”.

Obviously, perseverance is indeed what makes perfection. Such virtue will not only benefit your business, but also impacts every single detail of your life ranging from your relationships to your work. But is perseverance always good for all reasons?

Solely from my perspective, the answer should be no. Perseverance is usually good, but now always, especially in an extent when it is being used in a wrong direction. For example, when you, as a entrepreneur, is looking for a solution for you company’s financial crisis; does perseverance for making a wrong decision will save your company? Even though you believe the decision is good and you insist to do so, it could lead to bankruptcy because of your ignorant insistence.
