Soccer, the most beautiful sport in the world, has incredible players these days making it difficult for the FIFA to choose who the best player is. Cristiano Ronaldo, born portuguese player who plays in Real Madrid, is one of the most popular players as well as Lionel Messi from Argentina. The thing is, Cristiano Ronaldo last year scored more goals than Lionel Messi and even though the statistics favored CR, FIFA gave the Golden Ball to the argentinian player. How could the Fifa not grant Cristiano this award? He deserved it even though his arrogant actiones or his attitude, this is about soccer not about the personality of the player. I hope next year, this award should be in CR hands; the way he is playing is just magic.

Penn State Football
Lately on the news it has been seen that in the Penn State University serious events involving sexual abusement have ocurred years ago with the same staff nowadays. The former defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandulski, was discovered abusing sexually of a football player in the showers of the university facilities and sent to jail for the crime. Joe Paterno, Nittany Lions head coach, is now being fired by the university without ever comitting a crime; he followed proper procedure by knowing the exact incident and acted right away but the board of members decided to fire him. This coach has an impecable resume and has done excellent job in the football area, there is no reason to let him go without being involved in the deliquency comitted by the others. This actions are unfair for the students who may be victims but it is also completely unfair for Paterno who has done only but an incredible job.
Henry Liu’s blog “#8 riots after Stanley Cup”:
After this sad event that happened not so long ago, these news affected the Canucks’ fans making them angry and furious because the Boston Bruins took their title as a surprise. I’m a soccer fan and these kind of events happen commonly when some big opportunity fades away and another team snatch away what was possible going to be yours. Although I think the fans overreacted and made too much disasters, at the end its only a sports game and the opportunity can soon arrive again.

We all know Steve Jobs passed away a few days ago, the mind and the intelligence of Apple. Minutes after his death, in the portal website of this brand you could see a picture of Steve Jobs in black and white with his years; this picture showed the mourn for him and the respect he deserves for all his effort and work to change the way to listen music, the way to use a computer, the way to use mobile phones and for making Apple one of the most advanced technologic brands in the world. I find this tribute to him so important and thoughtful from everybody who owns of owned any Apple product. In my opinion he was one of the most brilliant minds who has lived since I was born.
In the trendwatching.com blog I think that their idea of “Recommerce” is an efficient and intelligent way of buying or selling products by not just spending money without getting something in return after using it. With this idea the first thing that comes to my mind is “Recycling”, trying to use everything the most.
NFL Super Bowl Marketing
Hi my name is Rogelio, I’m from Monterrey, Mexico and my favorite sport to watch is football. I’m so interested in all the marketing involved in this sport, experts say that the Super Bowl is the one of the most seen TV events in the world and every year the number of fans is increasing. Enterprises should find this event as an opportunity to be seen by putting their best effort on their marketing area. There are 30 second commercial spaces where any brand could buy one to expose themselves and to create controversy, If they’re successful they could follow their campaign just like Old Spice did with “The man your man could smell like”. Even if you are not a football fan you could try watching the Super Bowl commercials, I guarantee you they are incredible! I’ll leave you with one Budweiser commercial that is seemed great for me.
