Research

Broadly speaking, I am a historian of migration and movement. My current doctoral research is focused on the Holocaust and its entanglement with colonial/imperial histories, particularly that of the British Empire and its Asian colonies of Hong Kong and Singapore in the twentieth century.

Additionally, I am also interested in Digital Humanities and the use of digital/GIS/AI technologies in research and classroom settings. Of particular interest are tools that juxtapose old maps or photographs that visually reveals change over time.
