Assignment 1 – Garden
In Assignment 1, students worked individually to select a small-scale site in Vancouver – preferably public – and design a multi-sensorial garden. The design was required to respond to a specific health limitation (i.e., physical, mental, etc.) and provide healing or respite for those who would not otherwise have access to an outdoor space.

In Assignment 2, students worked in teams on a specific site in Vancouver to develop an urban public park that addresses issues of accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability to improve health, ecology & social connection.
