Site Overview

Axonometric view of site (in progress)

To include simple diagrammatic linework of whole site, primary and secondary circulation, hydrology, and vegetation.

(1) Bridge between nature

Perspective (in progress)

To show bridging people to nature in forest grove; show bird habitat, lighting, and under canopy seating.

Serial section with callouts/seasonality diagram (in progress)

To show wildlife connectivity of targeted wildlife (including pollinators, birds, raccoons, etc.), circulation through park through wildlife path and bridge connectivity.

(2) Bridging old and new neighbours

To depict view from plaza to BRAMP (including steps); potentially depict festival/community event.

Axonometric/section (in progress)

To show overlapping community spaces in Bramp area and/or plaza area with programming underneath and on top (i.e. dog park, playground, skate park interaction).

(3) Bridge for a changing climate

To show bioswale going into retention pond + rain and seasonality.

To show Alberta St and entrance to the park (northwest corner) and the interaction between swale connection.

(4) Bridging spaces across a spectrum of emotions

Mini perspectives (6 moments of emotion) – in progress

To show micro moments of emotion across a spectrum of high to low intensity. Capture the tea garden, grove, and potentially looking down from window in tower to park.

To depict an aura of emotions with dots/gradient of colours as an emotional heat map. Depict high to low energy w. high energy at heart of park and low energy at outer edges.
