Amazing advertisements!

Since study markerting course this semester, I become more sensitive to all the advertisments. I start to pay attention to all interesting ads and learn a lot impressive ads on the internet and TV. Today I’m going to show some of the creative and clever advertisements I find online.

these advertisements all have strong impressions on readers. You will never forget them as long as you see these ads.

I think one common point all these ads have is affectinmg consumers’ behaviours by influencing their attitudes and perception. For example, the 3M security glass ad shows people its security feature by this cteative idea. Putting a lot of money in their glass box on the street just make people think and recognize its security function. This amazing ad also make people who walk around feel that the glass is reliable and is professional for security glass. Consumers’ attitudes for this glass product will be definitely affected by this ad. Another example is about how to use impressive ads to urge consumers to purchase. The bounty paper towels ad is such an ad. A big cup of coffee is spilled out on the street and the bounty paper towels is just beside the spilled coffee. People who see this spilled coffee wound have the need of buying some paper towels to clean the street. Therefore, the bounty paper towels just can satisfy their needs. So consumers here will be urged to buy bounty paper towels.

Those ads above somehow all affect consumers’ bahaviour by their strong and amazing ideas. They get people’s eyes, thoughts, and attitudes. They are obviously successful advertisements!

All begin from an ad!

Last weekend when I was surfing online, found an interesting advertisement image. It’s Nike shoes ad. Although it is just a simple picture, it leaves unforgettable impression on me.

What I want to say here is advertisement does really have effects on consumers’ buying behaviour. To me, for example, I decided to go shopping for a pair of sport shoes after seeing this ad!

Because my need of buying sport shoes was revealed by this Nike ad, I went shopping directly. After I got the mall, I started the consumer decision process two—- search information. I went to Nike, New Balance, Adidas, Puma, and Reebok, Checked out their different shoes. I ckecked their coulors, price, materials, and styles. I collected almost all their sport shoes information that I care about.

After this, I thought for a while myself to evaluate all those shoes. I believed the Nike one is the best for me. I like its pink color, soft material, and cool but girl style. Although it’s a little expensive like $100, But I still decided to buy it.

Therefore, My next process: purchasing! I went back to Nike store and bought my lovely shoes. Of course, I, as a normal consumer, will evaluate my purchasing after as the last step of consumer decision process. I wears the new shoes everyday now and feel very satisfied. I believe all Nike shoes are the same comfortable as mine and is willing to buy another Nike sport shoes next time.

Immediate Environment of Wii!!!

Wii, as a new-tech home video game, is quite successful in the game market. It wins so many consumers in its market and becomes one of the most popular video game now. Its simple and small console, wireless controler, and the cool accessories have already become a milestone of home video game!

However, in the highly competitve market, Wii still need to consider about its market evironment and try its best to market this product.  First part: the company itself. Wii is the successful product released by Nintendo. Nintendo, the Japan’s third most valuable listed company, is one of most influential company in this industry. Before Wii, the company’s 3D graphics and multiplayers games were all successful and these products helped Nintendo become the leading company in game market. These are all competitive advantages to the product Wii. With the good design and develop teams in the company, it is not a surprise that Wii becomes the best seller in game market at the end of 2010. The competitive company itself has a big effect on Wii’s success.

Then the corporate partners. Wii has many sport activity games. So the company build partnerships with several sport organizations like Wistler Blackcomb and Canadian ski association. These partners support the sports games in Wii and help Wii become leading games in the sports and fitness game market.

Lastly, the competition Wii faces. In order to market and win in the industry, we must analyze our competitors all the time. The Xbox and play station 3 are two big direct competitors to Wii. In addition, all other general game devices in the market are indirect competitors to Wii.

So if Wii want to keep leading position in the market, it has to come up with new idea and new game all the time, and creates its own unique and effective marketing philosiphy, provide the best product and service to satisfy consumers’ needs.

Marketing in everywhere!

Today when I read news on msn.com I found an article “four ways to stay motivated to slim down.” I felt interested in it and clicked to have a look. Then I found Marketing in the article.

following after each paragraph, some relative products display online for sale. for example, if the paragraph is about setting small goal when you do exercise at gym, some sportwear of some famous sport brands will follow after with pictures, price. And if the paragraph is telling readers to drink more water and eat more veggies, the water bottle and vegetable steamer will follow after for sale.

I think this is an effective promotion and kind of an advertisement on web. Promoting products with relative articles, news, forum and so on can attract more potential customers. In addition this way of promotion just satisfy customers’ needs. Myself can be a good example here. I clicked to read this article just because I want to do exercise to lose weight. So at the same time, I do need some fit activewears. I myself pay attention to these products following after the article. I clicked on The North Face pants to go directly to its brand homepage. At last, I bought this kenetix tight pants.

However, how will this kind of marketing prometion effect readers who do not buy these products at once? It also has long-term value. Since the target market of  sports wear company is people who do and maybe will do exercise, Putting these products after the health, exercise-relatively article is a wise method to promote. Even those readers do not buy these products, they will have some impressions on these products and brands. They will remember some products or brands. Since those readers are potential customers, leaving good image to them can help build good relationships with them all.
