I am one of the Numeracy / Science Helping Teachers for the Surrey School District. I support 15 elementary schools with their numeracy goals by providing resources and teaching support. I also co-ordinate all the science in the District. We have 56 schools involved in the Salmonids in the Classroom project this year and will have more than 200 students involved in the 45th Annual District Science Fair.
This is my second blogging experience… I continue to be very ‘stream of consciousness’ in my thinking (and my writing!).
I’m looking forward to this course after our first night. Our prof appears to be very organized and interesting to listen to. I’m planning on downloading the text right now and getting a start on my first reading assignment.
