SXFN Stewardship, Georgina and Mike presented research results to regional wildfire practitioners and decision-makers. They showed that SXFN faces disproportionate wildfire risk, that they traditionally stewarded their lands using beneficial cultural burns, and that BC regulations prevent them from mitigating community wildfire risk today.
