My ETEC 540 Journey

This space is where I’ll be sharing my reflections, insights, and learning journey throughout the ETEC 540 course. I’m excited to explore ideas around text, technology, and learning, and to connect with others who are curious about how these themes shape our experiences.

A Little Bit About My Passion:

I’ve always believed that some of life’s best stories are found in unexpected places- like tucked away in a little café or hidden between bustling airport gates. For me, exploring new cafés isn’t just about coffee (though I’ll never say no to a perfect cappuccino!); it’s about the atmosphere, the people-watching, and discovering small details that make each spot unique.

Airports hold a special kind of magic for me. They represent possibility- so many people heading off on adventures, reunions, or new chapters. I enjoy being part of that energy, even if I’m not boarding a plane myself. When I do travel, I dive right into culture through food. Whether it’s sampling street snacks, trying a local dish I can’t pronounce, or asking people about their favorite meals, I see food as the easiest and most joyful way to connect with a place and its people.

Travel, for me, isn’t only about the destination; it’s about the curiosity, openness, and stories you collect along the way. Each café, airport, and city adds another layer to how I see the world. I’m always excited for the next adventure- big or small- that lets me learn, taste, and connect.
