When I was in the 6th grade, I fell down the stairs in front of my crush.
Embarrassment flooded my lungs and I swore that I would never return
to school.
Just when the air of mortification began to lighten, the whole school
gasped as I fell face down on mud during soccer practice.
yep, that’s exactly how I looked.
I realized that
falling down is my thing and that I had to control over it, but I could
decide how it will affect me. An epiphany struck, and the next day I
walked in to the classroom with a brand new element, the one which
lets me spin a good story out of every bad memory.
Six years later, I have now mastered the art of finding humor in every
abominable situation. Whether I fail in an easy test or get stuck in a
revolving door, I always have a fun story to share making people laugh
with me, rather than laughing at me.
