On January 27th, Division 5 is going to the HSBC Arts Umbrella Workshop at their Granville Island location.  Your child received a field trip consent form today and should have brought it home this afternoon.  The students will be participating in a theatre arts workshop, a visual arts workshop and a media arts workshop.  Please ensure that your child has lunch and water in a backpack that they can carry, and appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather.

Cost: $12.00 (the cost of the bus ride)

** we need 3 parent volunteers to accompany us

Here are the guidelines outlined by the Arts Umbrella staff:

• “A parent who will be able to let the students express themselves and to create their own artwork without judgement.”
• “We ask that it is just one parent in the room and that their own child isn’t in that workshop.”
