I’ve been a touch liberal with the word text in including audio and video, but I’m backed up BCs new curriculum which refers to all written, audio, and video offerings as texts.

I’m of the mind that over time – particularly during the 20th century though – that news delivery has become more and more narrow in its scope and that’s led to the incredible polarization that we see between the right and the left politically.
