Being a part of a community of practice is integral to the success of VR integration in education. Communities of practice are important to be able to connect people who share the same interests, enable dialogue, stimulate learning and self-reflection, share existing knowledge, create collaboration and generate new knowledge. By being a part of a community of practice, we can reflect, inquire and transform knowledge into action in our local schools.
As educators who all have a shared interest in Virtual Reality, we are a growing community. We invite our community to share experiences, resources and knowledge. Please provide us feedback on our website in addition to sharing your own knowledge and resources you may have about VR integration in education. There is a discussion page for educators to share their formative reflections where we encourage you to share your experiences with VR integration with other educators and engage in discussion. Additionally, educators are invited to comment on applications we have suggested in VR Programs by commenting on programs they have sampled or have questions about. We look forward to hearing from you!
