The theme this year is “Place, Power, Processes”. Three concepts among a constellation of core ideas that unite us as a discipline. Three concepts that attend to the breadth of research carried out by geographers, whether their work centres on social, natural, or socio-natural processes. We encourage you to engage it how you wish. The theme, as always, is meant to inspire thought and dialogue, to invite reflection on what unites us as geographers, and most certainly not to exclude; whatever your interests in geographical inquiry, your participation is very much welcome!
