I started my Ph.D program, Earth and Environmental Sciences at Department of Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences of the University of British Columbia (Okanagan campus) in September 2019. I’m working in the GIS & Watershed Ecosystem Research Lab under the supervision of Dr. Adam Wei.

Before starting my Ph.D program at UBCO, I graduated from Sichuan Agricultural University in China in June, 2016 with my BSc, and finished my Master’s program at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in June, 2019.

My Ph.D grogram will focus on The cumulative effects of forest disturbance on hydrology in large watersheds. This project will investigate how hydrological processes have been affected by cumulative effects of forest disturbance induced by logging, wildfire and mountain pine beetle (MPB) in forested watersheds in the interior of British Columbia.
