Reflections on Ventures and Opportunities in E-Portfolios
I reflect on my own story telling experiences and efforts to capture elusive story elements into a cohesive collection. My shoebox is scattered over many Web 2.0 locations. It is filled with items I have created for personal, professional and social purposes. I need a better shoe box – an effective, organized, and easy to locate shoe box. My e-portfolio will become a new cloud-based curation and collection shoebox location. It will become my digital story, shaped by purpose or audience.
I reflect on my own venture interests. Looking at each of the e-portfolio products available, I have identified some favourites. Some e-portfolio products suit one purpose better than others. Limitations to market share occur when purpose dictates products. If products adapt to suit multiple purposes, it becomes a ‘go to’ source for that niche market. The options for entrepreneurs within the eportfolio marketplace is global and life-long. New business ventures in this location can ‘grow organically’.
