So, how does a company that mainly selling vehicles and battery products become so popular? Toyota, Honda, Merc, and BMW all have products with low pollution and fuel cost. In common sense, there should be no room for a car maker without too many technological foundation and an old culture deposits. However, Tesla makes it.

Tesla promotes the public using clean energy, efficient technologies, and technological lifestyle as a goal to develop a “sustainable” society. By opening patents to other car companies freely and investing huge amount of money on building electrical charger in the State, Tesla has built a positive identity in both motoring fields and the public. What Tesla has done successfully differs itself from those car makers, making it more innovative. As a result of its ethical behaviors, Tesla becomes greatly well-known in the public and hence accumulating more and more potential costumers. Also, such actions attract more investors and talented employees for the firm. In conclusion, ethics in business and fulfilling social responsibility can actually bring more benefit than just producing and selling products. Treating the stakeholders, costumers and employees well is essential for being successful.
