On Thursday, March 14, UBC Applied Science and UBC Land and Food Systems are celebrating National Potato Chip Day with a talk titled The Science Behind Potato Chips: Crispy, crunchy and delicious.
Dean Rickey Yada of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems will be giving a talk about our favourite salty snack. Find out what gives them a unique taste, which country loves curry-flavoured chips, and much more! There will be plenty of time for questions and some taste-testing!
