These kind of lies are what harms the health and living of dolphins and whales. The root cause is the overfishing and pollution of the decrease in fish populations. There are many organizations and campaigns that deal with truly sustaining and developing methods of fishing that will help protect the fish stocks, while still providing benefits to the fishermen.

Give support to fishermen when finding an alternative to killing dolphins

The local fishermen of Taiji have replied that they would return to fishing for lobsters and crabs when asked if the killing of dolphins were to be outlawed. There are so few in the actually dolphin drive hunts slaughtering and capturing processes.

Taiji could abandon the annual culling of dolphins, which is now noted from across the globe, and develop eco-friendly tourism.
