Welcome to my Constructivist Lesson Site. This lesson is geared towards grade 8 students studying Integer Operations and meets the following Objectives as laid out in the Alberta Education Program of Studies:
- Demonstrate an understanding of integers, concretely, pictorially and symbolically.
- Demonstrate an understanding of addition and subtraction of integers, concretely, pictorially and symbolically.
- Demonstrate an understanding of multiplication and division of integers, concretely, pictorially and symbolically.
In this activity, students will use their knowledge of integers and relate it to the idea of profit/loss when investing in the stock market.

- Computer (with Internet and Microsoft Excel)
