MM Summer Study Abroad Opportunities

Your Passport to a Global Perspective

MM Study Abroad programs take place during the summer months and vary in length from two to six weeks.View the 2020 SSA opportunities document available to you here.

If you want to gather first-hand knowledge about the culture and commerce of another country, and develop confidence to work on the world stage, take advantage of this exceptional opportunity.

Students participating in a Study Abroad program will gain extra credit for their MM and add another top business school to their resume.

You can review the Exchange Study Reports from students who have previously participated in Exchange here (password: mbaexchange). Please review the reports denoted as "MM Summer Study Abroad" under Program heading.

Students can apply for Summer Study Abroad through the Go Global Gateway website:

  1. From the Go Global Gateway site, navigate to the "Starting an Online Application Section" and click on "Start an online application and follow the steps through Gateway" link (the other information on this page can be disregarded)
  2. Login with your CWL
  3. Follow the steps through the Go Global Gateway online application portal
  4. Once logged in, click on "Search Experiences" and enter "MBA Study" in the "Keywords" field
  5. Ensure you select "Summer" as the study period for your host institution as found in the 2020 SSA opportunities document
  • After you've started your application, you will be asked to submit a list of supporting documents. Please have your current Resume ready and submit your Proposed Study Plan
  • The Go Global fee ($415) can be paid through the Student Service Centre (SSC). Please note that the fee will not be posted until after the Application deadline has passed. NOTE: Go Global Fee is refundable if you do not receive one of your choices for Summer Study Abroad
  • Complete and submit supporting documents by the application deadline.
  • Application deadline is Jan. 20, 2020.
