“After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.” -Aldous Huxley
Music is one of those things that has unique meaning and significance to each person. Songs from years ago can take you right back to a certain place and time, be it a memory of a trip or time spent with friends. Music evokes a huge range of emotions, with there being a genre or song to match any mood or feeling you may have. Music also crosses language barriers and borders, bringing people together in a way we all understand as human beings. This deep connection we feel with music is deeply rooted within us, we all choose to express that in or own individual way. Just as I have changed over the years so too has my taste in music. I’ve discovered new genres and artists to expand my playlists on my ever growing Spotify account. Ill be sharing some songs that have had significance to me, this wont be my top ten all time list but just a few that have meaning to them.
Ed Sheeran – I See Fire
Tycho – Coastal Break
Adventure Club – Wait
Flume – This Song Is Not About a Girl
Martin Garrix – The Only Way is Up
Anberlin – The Feel Good Drag
Silverstein – Discovering the Waterfront
