About Me

It takes Pasteur Pipettes and Micropipettes to Tango

Am I wrong, for thinking out of the box from where I stay?
“Am I Wrong”, Black Star Elephant (2014), Nico & Vinz

My scientific passion is to answer biological questions about health by crossing-over medicinal chemistry and nuclear medicine. Combining my training in chemistry and biochemistry, I am interested in modifying DNA to improve diagnosis of cancer, leading to my first and leading-author publication in RSC Med. Chem. My work also spans drug development and understanding structure-activity relationship of small molecules. Outside of science, I enjoy the great outdoors – the beautiful British Columbia. I do enjoy a good hike; science and mountains alike. Please leave a message if you wish to talk about nature, a good math problem, or just to say hi. I would love to meet you (Contact Information).
