Reza is an MD in natural toxicities, MUMS, MPH (surveillance system for overdoses, TUMS), non-graduating MSc in Epidemiology (race & ethnicity, University of Edinburgh, UK), and Ph.D. (opioid toxicities, 2005, University of Edinburgh). As a Clinical Professor, he teaches Toxicology in Public Health and Risk Assessment. He also acts as the Editor-in-Chief; Asia Pacific Journal of Medical Toxicology and electronically publishes a BC Toxicology News Monthly Bulletin (BCTOX) - The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) awarded him "Young Scientist" - 2007 in health, Trieste, Italy.
